Sun

The data for this image was collected using a Coronado Solar Max II equipped with an ASI 678MM. Using lucky imaging, 50 percent of the best frames from a video of a few minutes were used for the final image, which was later colorized. The solar disk is intentionally overexposed to highlight activity at the solar rim.
